I chose pediatrics as my specialty because I love kids, and I love watching them grow. But I also love working with parents. In pediatrics, you get to be a trusted partner to both children and their parents. Knowing how to put kids at ease is something that's really important for a pediatrician. I do that by talking directly to children and doing things that make them more comfortable during their visit.
