Dotson Plumbing & Heating Co

Dotson plumbing was started in 1962 by Darrell and Doris Dotson as a small, hometown plumbing and heating shop. The business was started in a pre-1900's building on Main St. and to date has never moved.
The company grew to employ 35 people by 1973 when the housing market was booming. Darrell Dotson operated the business until his passing in 1987. His wife Doris and their two sons continued to operate the business until 1989 when Larry Wiech purchased the company.
The company grew under the direction of Mr. Weich to include commercial and industrial work, doing so without losing the personal customer feel of a small home town business.
In 2008, the company was sold to long time employee Nick Herzog. Nick is continuing the growth of the company while striving to keep the personal service that has made Dotson famous. Nick has kept the standards of the previous owners, such as offering the same great service rates, as well as keeping the company in the same local and original building.
