The science and biology of how our bodies and minds worked sparked my initial interest in the field of medicine, but its the personal relationships, life stories and power to help someone in their darkest hours that really drove my desire to become a primary care doctor. I believe in an evidence-based yet patient-centered approach to care and empowering patients to take ownership of their health and wellness. My areas of clinical interest include preventive care, management of chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension, and aging. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, hiking and biking outdoors, and horsing around with my toddler.
