As a doctor, I get to be part of my patients lives -- listening, learning about them and trying to help them thrive. I love this job. I try to serve as an advisor, advocate and encourager for my patients. When making decisions, I prefer to partner with my patient as much as possible to come up with a plan that fits with his/her preferences and values. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, sharing a meal -- perhaps with someone from my church family, pulling weeds in the garden, going for walks with my dog, Pippin, and cheering on the Purdue Boilermakers.
