Mary Crawford Tanner, PA-C is a skilled and compassionate physician assistant at Charlotte Dermatology, where she has been providing care since August 2023. Born in Greenville, SC and raised in Goldsboro, NC, Mary Crawford earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Wake Forest University before completing her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Pfeiffer University. She specializes in both general and surgical dermatology and regularly assists Dr. El-Gamal with Mohs surgery. Her clinical interests include diagnosing and treating skin cancer, cysts, lipomas, acne, rosacea, eczema and psoriasis. While her primary practice location is our 7th Street office, you may also see her at other locations from time to time as she supports our team across the area
