At BodyEnergetiX, our primary goal is treating the body as a whole system. Our focus is on postural integration, postural alignment, soft tissue release, therapeutic bodywork, movement therapy, therapeutic massage, and energy balancing. These therapeutic modalities help patients with; Arthritis, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, TMJ, whiplash injuries, chronic fatigue, depression, digestive problems, fibromyalgia, headaches and insomnia, muscular weakness, pain, pre and post-surgical procedures, post-traumatic stress, sports injuries and stress to name a few. The body has a natural ability to heal itself and it’s constantly striving for balance. When the body becomes overloaded with stress; such as emotional trauma, accidents, surgery, infections, or environmental toxins it goes into overdrive. Many valuable resources are taken away from the body’s ability to regenerate healing. The body becomes sluggish and inefficient and poor health follows. Balancing the body with different manual and energy medicine modalities will enable the body to redirect focus to the areas that need blood supply, oxygen, and nutrients to help restore the proper nerve-firing mechanisms to enable the body to restore a more relaxed response to stress and return to a healthy balance. Amy has been a neuromuscular structural, postural, bodywork, movement, and energy therapist in Greensboro, NC since 1995. She has studied all over the US, Europe, and the UK. She has studied Energy Medicine Therapies and perfected the DSL postural alignment technique which focuses on myofascial, myoskeletal, and structural alignment, that helps alleviate pain due to muscular-skeletal injuries, such as falls, sports injuries, and car accidents. Combining these therapies assist the body in returning to homeostasis. (Meaning of Homeostasis refers to stability, balance, or equilibrium within a cell or the body.) Cancellation Policy: BodyEnergetiX requires a 48 HOUR cancellation notice for appointments, or you will be charged your regular visit fee.
