I went into medicine because I wanted to make difference. Being a doctor allows me to do something good for someone every day. Practicing internal medicine and pediatrics means I see a lot of teenagers, and I enjoy doing so. I also like caring for geriatric patients they remind me of my grandparents. I try to listen to what patients say. I remember what it was like when my children were sick when I see a worried mother. Outside of work, I enjoy flying (I am a private pilot), hunting with my two bird dogs and sitting on the porch with my wife.
