The purpose of the coop is simple, to preserve and strengthen private practice but do so in a in a way that allows for complete independence from our members. We are doing this by enhancing the revenue cycle process, negotiating better contracts for our members with payers (i.e., Anthem, HPHC), reducing medical supply costs by aggregating the volume of our members, reducing the cost of retirement plans for practices, as well as actively developing the ability for our members to purchase health benefits at a drastically reduced rate to what they are currently paying.
