Serving up breakfast, lunch, dinner and the best burgers in Bergen County since 1956! Diners can get everything from breakfast to steak sandwiches, but cheeseburgers are the Fireplace's specialty. Voted as one of the "best burgers in NJ" by bergen.com, you can get them plain or add toppings (including their legendary pickles) on the side. Locals favor the onion rings - deep fried to perfection. The burgers range from a plain hamburger to the "Jersey" burger - a burger with cheese and taylor ham - to a buffalo burger or veggie burger. Fries come plain or cajun seasoned, and can be mixed with onion rings in a sampler. Other savory treats from the Fireplace are their milkshakes and ice cream. Couple one of these with your meals and you are in for one of the quickest, delicious most well rounded meal in Bergen County. The restaurant has become a staple for locals as well as travelers of Route 17.

Step up to the counter and order. Great grilled cheese, burgers and hot dogs. Rustic decor gives this self serve restaurant a comfy feeling. Kid friendly and lots of seats. Usually a wait for food but worth it.
