The Acute Rehabilitation Unit, a partnership between St. Joseph’s Health and Hackensack Meridian Health’s JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute, provides nationally-recognized advanced rehabilitation services with the goal of maximizing our patient’s functional independence and enabling them to return back home and into the community. Our inpatient rehabilitation unit offers comprehensive rehabilitative services around the clock for patients in need of intensive recovery. Our board-certified physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians oversee an intensive therapy program that may include physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology, with 24-hour care from nurses who specialize in rehabilitation.
