Dr. Zenilman is an experienced gastrointestinal surgeon, in both open and laparoscopic surgeries. As a nationally recognized leader in surgery, he has led and built departments in Brooklyn, The Bronx and in Maryland. He has trained and mentored over 100 students, residents and faculty, and has published over 200 articles, clinical reviews and book chapters. He has edited a number of textbooks, including 3 editions of “Principles and Practice of Geriatric Surgery".
