Operating since 1999 and led by Marc E. Sher, MD, FACS, FASCRS, and T. Cristina Sardinha, MD, FACS, FASCRS, the surgeons at Progressive Surgical Care are all board-certified and highly respected doctors who have reputations for providing exceptional care with a warm and compassionate bedside manner. The practice has both male and female surgeons on staff who are fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, Cantonese, Hebrew, Tagalog, and English.

The state-of-the-art offices at Progressive Surgical Care are accredited ambulatory surgery facilities that offer anesthesia and a wide range of in-office procedures including colonoscopies. For any procedures that can’t be performed in office, the practice offers safe and comfortable care at their affiliates, St. Francis Hospital in Flower Hill of Roslyn, New York, and all Northwell Health facilities, including the Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Queens and North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset.
