Meatballs of the City by jay0309 via Citysearch on 2/24/2012
When you first walk in, the ambiance is what gets you. The cozy yet busy atmosphere perfectly depicts what NYC truly is. When I say busy, I mean busy! Make sure to arrive their at least 45 minutes before you actually want to eat or make a…

very nice place. Food was excellent. Drinks were fabulous, especially the bloody Mary made with beer. Go and just try this drink. Small place but they move quick. Would certainly go back. Can' t wait for the new locations to open.
Meatballs to die for by Robbo1 via Citysearch on 5/12/2011
The combination lamb with the pesto is fantastic. Also, believe it or not, the Smash size is a perfect portion.
Maybe I will try it one day by mblaster via Citysearch on 2/23/2011
i have never had the food, but i have been in at least 3 times and every time, I get the same thing. "1 hour wait and we will call you". That is crazy, one day i will eat your meatballs. One day.

good sauce and cheap food by clairelin via Citysearch on 1/26/2011
It's good, but after all, it's meatballs.
Super crowded and people were fighting for seats.
I had classic beef with spicy meat sauce and risotto. Meatball is meatball. It is okay. Sauce was tasty, but pretty oily, and not a lot of…
Get the lamb balls and an ice cream sandwich! by yaelleah via Citysearch on 8/19/2010
The menu listed several types of balls (beef, chicken, pork, veggie and a special - lamb when we were there) and several types of sauces (pesto, spicy meat, marinara, mushroom, parmesan cream, etc.). We did the naked balls, since the boys…
Amazing if you like meatballs! by kream36 via Citysearch on 7/6/2010
I love a good meatball. I saw this place on the food network and had to go. I was a little put off by the area that it is located in. It looks a little, "different" to put it nicely. I would not feel really comfortable visiting late at…
Delicious! by prlgirl via Citysearch on 5/27/2010
The fact that metballs have their own home now is pretty hilarious, but they are coming in droves! Dropped by here on a Sunday night and the place was packed with people on the sidewalk waiting to get in. We waited about 20 minutes and…

Comfort food comes to this rustic Lower East Side restaurant, where Le Bernardin vet Daniel Holzman has embraced the humble meatball. He offers the orbs in five styles (spicy pork, salmon, veggie, chicken, beef), which are topped with…
