Mary Cvitkovic, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, began working as a surgical oncology nurse practitioner at University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center (Cleveland, Ohio) in March 2024. Her duties as surgical oncology nurse practitioner include evaluating and managing patients with abnormal breast imaging; coordinating breast biopsies and related follow-up care; monitoring breast cancer survivors for signs of recurrence; and educating high-risk patients about breast cancer risk factors, surveillance strategies and risk reduction.
