University Flowers is our website and brand for all of our store locations. Christine's Garden is the parent company that includes ou website and our other store, The University Flower Shop. Christine's opened in 1997 in a small 300 sq. ft. shop in Bexley. At the time there were 10 other flower shops in Bexley and 3 more just outside the city. Within less than 6 months we moved in to our permanent location at 2733 E. Main St and have been there ever since. As for Bexley and the rest of those shops they have all closed or moved out of Bexley. We are the last Full-Service Florist in Bexley. The University Flower shop story is a little different. Opening in 1932 it is said on a regular basis that Jesse Owens was one of our first customers. Over time many shops have come and gone. When it became part of Christine's Family of Florist it has been the only shop on the OSU campus. In 2018 we relocated to the corner of 10th and Neil Ave. We invested a great deal in our future and new location and are very proud of the new store.

Best kept secret . . . by starusa123 on 9/25/2011 via Citysearch

Christine's Garden has been the best kept flower secret in Bexley for years. Don't let the small storefront fool you, they always have a great selection of fresh flowers and really know how to make you feel good about buying and sending…

Very nice people! by sunne on 4/5/2011 via Citysearch

I call the last minute and they we're very helpful! I did see the arrangement and it was beautiful! :)

Solid, adequate by jevais on 5/23/2009 via Citysearch

I guess the best word to describe this florist would be "solid." They seemed to be stuck in the very traditional floral style. There was nothing exciting or inspiring about their arrangements: just an all-around bouquet with the usual…

Don't shop here unless you want to get swindled by hilge on 9/4/2007 via Citysearch

I know for a fact that the owner buys his flowers from other florists, and then jacks the price up. I've spoken with several former employees who speak very poorly of the management. Take your business to Connells Flowers down the street.
