Great tool. Well built and sooo much easier than using a chain and jack. I've removed many hundreds of tree stakes, many that were root bound and had been in for a decade or more. I've only had one that was too stuck to remove.

Have had several units and the hinge is the weak point.We only use them for ground rod removal and on all of them the hinge point is the break and weak point. They make replacement parts but should provide an extra set with tool.
