Absolutely the worst experience dealing with a contractor ever by James Pryor on 6/23/2023
out of 5 starsIn April this contractor was hired to do some repair works for an AC unit at my house here it is June and the completion of the work has not been done. I have contacted choice home warranty on this guy several times he has refused to contact me so ultimately I got rid of the home warranty program and the contractor himself the home warranty did issue a refund and I asked this contractor for a refund and told me it would be 30 days before it would be initiated here it is he called me back and said that the parts are in that he would have to charge me a restocking fee. Mind you a hefty restocking fee, so I contacted the warranty company who I no longer have and they said he is absolutely wrong that he will be good and contacted by the vendors relations program they have and if he does not refund my money within 24 to 48 hours minus a stocking fee he will be removed from their vendor program. This guy is absolutely a fraud scam and he prays on people that will not take him to the magistrate. I will not escalate the process I urge everyone who deals with this guy to take him to the magistrate, and if you’re dealing with a contractor such as a home warranty program to call them and let them know exactly what he’s doing, I have yet to receive my refund of $3000. However I do believe it’s in the making everyone out there should contact their credit card company and escalate the process
