This isn't the kind of restaurant you just stop in to grab a quick bite. You can do that if you wish, but Zola; New World Bistro is a dining experience worth your time and appreciation. They have a great wine list and an equally exciting…
Cool bistro ambience, interesting bar, live music by archangelmr on 5/22/2008 via Citysearch
This is a happening place in State College. Attracts an amazingly diverse crowd - from 20-somethings to retired professors in their 60's-70's. Whole (and they do mean whole) red snapper is worth coming to State College for. Pricey but…
Magnifico! by Sean B. on 2/10/2008 via Judy's Book
I'm completely comfortable paying a little extra money to have amazing food and perfect service. There is a trickle down effect, starting with the management, where every employee is courteous and professional. The head chef is creative…
Great special occasion restaurant by thewuffs on 1/1/2007 via Citysearch
I love Zolas but certainly can not afford to go too often. Also, not a place to go with a big eater. The scallops are unbelievable. Great desserts, too

Always have had a great meal here. All my guests have always been impressed with the food & service. Well trained staff, great but expensive wine list. Have never been dissapointed
Excellent food, dreadful place by Tristan C. on 1/21/2006 via Judy's Book
The quality of the food is excellent. But the prices are ridiculous for a town in the middle of nowhere. As is customary with wanna-be-fancy places, the portions are tiny. But the worst part is the place itself: a very NOISY…
Fine Dining comes to State College by mary c. on 8/26/2005 via Judy's Book
It was worth the wait. Zola finally offers world class cuisine in the middle of rural PA. Ecletic food and contemporary atmosphere make Zola a dining event. While the food is memorable, so is sitting by the window in a little black dress…
not worth the money by Joe J. on 8/11/2005 via Judy's Book
Zola is one of the few fine dining establishments within State College that goes a little experimental with their menu items. You will find many classic items that have been adapted into more fusion/eclectic dishes. The taste is okay,…
