As a life long Rl resident, I attended public school in Cranston and went on to graduate cum laude from The Wheeler School in 1984. I graduated from Brandeis University in 1988 and the University of Miami School of Law in 1992. I was admitted to the Rhode Island bar in 1992 and the United States District Court bar in 1993. I began my legal career in 1992 working for a prestigious Family Law practice in Warwick where I gained the knowledge and experience that allowed me to open my own practice in 2000. My high level of in-court experience can help increase your chances of having an outcome that works in your favor. After more than 15 years in Cranston I have relocated back to Warwick, where I continue to provide outstanding legal service. I completed Divorce Mediation Training at Roger Williams School of Law in 1996, becoming educated in the techniques of mediation at a time when few family law attorneys had acknowledged the benefits of mediation in this arena. This training allows me to facilitate resolutions between parties who are looking to avoid the sometimes antagonistic nature of a courtroom battle. With my mediator experience, I am qualified to work toward dispute resolution to avoid going to court. I understand that my success as a mediator is due to my ability to maintain a high level of integrity while remaining respectful to both parties with each meeting.
