Jesse A. Clanton, MD, FACS, is a fellowship-trained hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgeon who provides general surgical and specialized liver, biliary and pancreatic surgical services. He received his medical degree from Tulane University in New Orleans and completed his residency in general surgery at Summa Health System in Akron, Ohio, where he also served as chief surgical resident. He completed a surgical education research fellowship with the Association for Surgical Education in Springfield, Illinois, and a hepato-pancreato-biliary fellowship at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Clanton approaches each patient with an individual focus, and believes in the importance of collaborating with them and their loved ones to achieve the best results.
