Kenneth Kirton, M.D.

Kenneth Kirton, M.D., is a Palliative Care Physician at Rapid City Hospital. Dr. Kirton trained at Family Practice Residency in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and acquired an M.D. from University of South Dakota School of Medicine. A Bush Foundation Fellow for Palliative Care/Hospice/
Traditional Chinese Medicine, Dr. Kirton also holds a Master of Science in Health Care Ethics from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.

Dr. Kirton has over thirty years of experience providing care to patients and their families in a variety of health care settings. Previously, he was Lead Medical Director for Avera Hospice in Sioux Falls and a family physician in Freeman, SD.
