Katy was born and raised in Mitchell, SD. She attended South Dakota State University for her undergraduate and graduate degrees - Go Jacks! Katy relocated to Spearfish in 2014. She spent time as a critical care nurse prior to joining the General Surgery team. Katy has two sons, Jackson and Kaden, and a black Laborador Retriever, Luna.
