Aaliyah's Angels Academy is the place where we create lifelong learners. We meet the needs of the whole child and collaborate with the families. Aaliyah's Angels Academy is a warm, loving, academic academy where social emotional needs of all learners are considered. We are a child focused program where learners become well-rounded problems solvers. We offer age appropriate activities and teach using brain switching and multisensory learning to solidify foundational learning. For your security, we offer you the ability to observe your child learning and playing via an app while you're at work or running errands. What greater security could you have? The school Principal is a state certified educator and School Principal in the State of Texas and has taught in Missouri and Louisiana as well. She has taught from babies through college level. Ms. Trahan has also worked in the role of school counselor in which she is certified as well. Staff is highly qualified, creative and compassionate. We offer services to include academics, social emotional learning, homeschooling for learners ages 12 months through 12 years. Our teacher student ratio will be 1:6 or 3:4. You won't get this anywhere else-nearly 1:1 learning. Our program is a school year program that mostly follows the Alief ISD calendar. We open July 22, 2019. Mental health counseling is available for the whole family. Aaliyah's Angels Academy also serves two meals and a snack daily. While the learners learn social skills and academics, they also get to have fun. They learn differently than at any other place and the method of teaching we use causes them to enjoy learning and their entire day. Our licensed home location is safe and we create a community, not just a place to drop your child off. It's a place where your family is extended. Parents play and integral role along with the learner and the Aaliyah's Angels Academy staff and leadership. Parent meetings are held quarterly. We offer a specialized reading program that your child will be able to learn on at home and at school. It is a multinational program. We take learning seriously. Readers are leaders! We accept cash, NCI and credit card payments. During the school year, learners wear uniforms and can purchase and wear a school shirt on Fridays. We also have fundraisers so that parents won't have to pay for field trips. Aaliyah's Angels Academy works in collaboration with The Trahan Therapy Center to provide therapeutic services to families as well as educational consulting services (including special educational consultation services).
