Dr. Islahi is board certified in Family Medicine and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. She is also an adjunct assistant professor at Texas A&M Medical school and is active in teaching and mentoring medical students. She obtained her medical degree and completed her residency from U.T Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Chemistry with honors from Southern Methodist University.
