Credit Card Charged Twice & Customer Support STINKS by mtrcyclemark via Citysearch on 9/22/2011

I called the 59/Bissonnet location to try & straighten out an over-charge on my Cc & was very dissatisfied with the shortness/rudeness of the manager. I called the Bellaire store manager to try & get the distict manager's contact info & he…

Worst BBQ I Ever Tatsed by erika2259 via Citysearch on 7/5/2010

This is the worst BBQ I have ever had in my life! I recently moved to Houston (lived in 5 different states) and cannot believe that this place is in business.\r \r I had the chopped beef: It was disgusting, soaked in grease, and the sauce…

Not so good by goldfish19 via Citysearch on 2/8/2010

We tried the meat sampler (ham, ribs, beef and another meat which I forgot). Only the ribs were good. The rest were either tough or too salty. The 2 side dishes too were not delicious. I would not come back to this restaurant.

Bad food good desert by fewsilly via Citysearch on 9/2/2003

I thought the food was bad. The cheeseake is the best though. They gave me a huge slice of cheesecake that was to die for.

tough brisket by bryancam via Citysearch on 1/31/2003

I could not eat the brisket sandwich because I literally could not chew the sliced brisket on my sandwich. I had to get another sandwich & it was almost as bad

Should be farther down the list by jamaisleblanc via Citysearch on 1/9/2003

Their meat is webby, fatty and bland and their sauce is like watered down KC Masterpiece. Their chicken has no flavor and their ribs have no meat on them. I have given them a chance once or twice a year for over a decade (my inlaws would…

Luthers Suck by portiers via Citysearch on 1/9/2003

You're better of at Krogers by tracourt via Citysearch on 10/24/2002

The worst of the worst. The sausage tastes like bologna.

are you serious?! by michaelacarriere via Citysearch on 9/6/2002

C'mon guys, Luthers is the fast food of the BBQ industry. If you want authentic SMOKED, not baked, BBQ take a drive out to Richmond and go to Swinging Door. It is by far the best!

looser's bbq by razortex via Citysearch on 8/31/2002

except for the pork, this place has nothing to brag about. Unless you brag about Erratic quality. But the pork is good, I'll grant them that.

Yum!! by janet_mustain via Citysearch on 8/13/2002

If you love BBQ, this is the place to go. Turkey, Beef, Sausage, Ham, Chicken....and the biggest backed potatoes you ever saw! And they are all reasonably priced.

pretty good by savemoney via Citysearch on 7/31/2002

Luthers is pretty good if your looking for fast friendly service. their chicken and ribs are very good. what I like best is that you don't have to wait to be served. You can go in and get your food right there. It is probably one of the…
