In 1997, Dr. Carter earned her medical degree at the University Of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Ohio. She completed her Internal Medicine-Pediatric Residency at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Carter is a member of the Harris County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association, American College of Physicians, American Academy of Pediatrics and the National Medical Association. Dr. Carter is a volunteer basketball coach and her hobbies include running, basketball and soccer.
