This is the place to go if you want a Margharita but not all that into eating. Very good margs but the food lis less than stellar. Good prices but you can certianly get better mexican food down the road at Los Cucos.

El Palenque is fabulous. They have the BEST maguaritas in Houston. The food is good too! Service is great, I would recommend to anybody.

food is good, margaritas are good too. There is a reason this place is ALWAYS busy...it is always good. A bit loud inside, but the wait is never too bad.

This is a nice place with good atmosphere, the food is above average and the prices are very reasonable. Margarita's are excellent. The service was good. I would go back again.

Not a fancy place at all, but reliable - clean, acceptable service and a good selection of authentic, homestyle mexican fare. Prices are very reasonable.

For the best cheese enchiladas and marigarita's, this is the place to go. The service is quick and they serve the food hot. Try to go on nights when it is not too crowded (avoid weekend nights).

Great atmosphere, very lively and fun. Extremely attentive waitstaff and the biggest, most delicious platter of fajitas I've ever had. We're now regulars.
