As an early intervention speech pathologist, Rahman witnessed families of special needs children have great difficulty finding quality therapeutic resources in historically under-served communities of color. These families had few choices and were thereby forced to scramble for the limited services provided in public schools. Children's Language Center, LLC was opened in May 2019 to fill the need for quality therapeutic pediatric speech therapy services in historically under-served Houston communities of color.
