Ashton S. Mansour, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with a subspecialty in hand and upper extremity surgery with an emphasis on hand, wrist, and elbow disorders. He has dedicated his practice to diagnosing and treating hand and upper extremity conditions in all age groups. He focuses on optimal nonoperative and operative management for upper extremity conditions and offers arthroscopic and minimally invasive options whenever appropriate. Mansour spends time educating his patients about their medical conditions and options with the main goal of returning patients to a productive lifestyle. He’s also an assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, where he has a passion for educating residents. Mansour is a proud member of the Fighting Texas Aggie Class of 2006. He received his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Emory University. He completed fellowship training in hand surgery at Vanderbilt Orthopedic Institute. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, exploring new restaurants, exercising, traveling, mentoring his nephews and niece in various sports, and leading his family in a Christian environment.
