With over 20 years in the fitness industry, the operators of Fitness Connection noted that women seemed most comfortable in the company of other women and prefer “women only” classes along with female trainers. The company also realized that few, if any women-only gyms offer the full spectrum of equipment and services offered at co-ed gyms, which led to the founding of Pure Fitness for Women.
