BYU Independent Study provides the opportunity for high school, university or college, and post-college students to continue their education without the restrictions offered by traditional classes. Proximity to the BYU campus is not an issue as we are mostly an online institution. We have students in every state in the United States as well as over 20 other countries around the world. As BYU Independent Study is largely online based, most of our students work directly from their home computers allowing them the flexibility of working on their courses in their own time-frame and at their own pace. With over 200 different courses available, our students have the options to transfer their credits to or from most educational institutions as well as earning a degree completely from us.
