Dr. Cook completed the Medical College of Virginia’s Dental School in 2003, where he earned his doctorate of Dental Science degree. Prior to that, he also completed a doctorate program in Neuro Anatomy, also from MCV. Dr. Cook is originally from Richmond. In 2003, Dr. Cook purchased the practice of Dr. Wilson Ames and relocated to Smithfield. He and his wife, Kirstin, have two children Colby and Anna. Dr. Cook is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and has served two terms as an elected member of the Smithfield Town Council.

As usual Candace was.wonderful. The office staff is so friendly and kind.dr. Cook was pleasant and thorough. I never relish going to the dentist(!) but my experience with Smithfield Family Dentristy is always is positive.
