It all started in 1988 with a simple goal: to bring the big, bold and crave worthy flavors of Austin and neighboring Mexican border towns to Washington, D.C. For more than thirty years, we’ve specialized in made-from-scratch Tex-Mex, specialty margaritas with real lime (no store-bought mixes here), hand-rolled enchiladas, homemade salsas and charbroiled chicken wings. Come for lunch, brunch or dinner and enjoy our house specialties – Austin style – like dry-rubbed slow-cooked ribs, sizzling fajitas, homemade migas and huevos rancheros. Stop by our tequila bar to enjoy a tap Shiner, tequila flight or “Texas Size” tornado. Austin Grill is a place to go if you want a good tex mex meal. I have never had a bad experience there before. The food is always good. The margaritas are delicious. I would recommend this place!

This restaurant serves Tex Mex food. The food does not seem to be very healthy, but it tastes good, is cooked well, and is reasonably priced. The staff are trained well and disciplined, making them above-average in service.
