I get the most joy out of helping my patients through their health care challenges, whether it is a benign but uncomfortable anorectal disease, a chronic disease such as inflammatory bowel disease, or a cancer diagnosis. I get know my patients personally so that we can work together to achieve the best outcomes possible for their health and quality of life. I consider patients' goals and evidence-based medicine. I am residency-trained in general surgery and fellowship-trained in colorectal surgery. I provide care at UVM Medical Center and Central Vermont Medical Center, and I am thrilled to provide expert colorectal and general surgery care to patients at both locations.
