I earned my medical degree at UVM Larner College of Medicine in 2014. After that, I completed a residency in neurology and a fellowship in neurophysiology at University of Vermont Medical Center. Before medical school, I attained a master's degree in oriental medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, CA, and Five Branches Institute in Santa Cruz, CA, in 2002. I received Advanced Clinical & Academic Training in Acupuncture & Herbology from Chengdu University of TCM in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. My bachelor of science in Exercise and Health Science, with a concentration in sports medicine, was earned at Alma College in Alma, MI. I also took part in an International Sports Medicine Internship with sports physical therapists at a French Olympic training facility. As a neurologist, I specialize in EMG/nerve conduction testing, EEG and using botulinum toxin to treat migraines, spasticity, dystonia, hemifacial spasm and blepharospasm.I believe a collaborative and communicative approach to patient care is the best way to help an individual navigate the complicated medical system and find the help they need. I am eager to help guide the central Vermont community through their neurologic care.
