Olympic Athletic Club is the best! by Erin F. via Judy's Book on 8/9/2009
If you’re looking for a great gym in Seattle, the Olympic Athletic Club is it! The club sits in the historic district of Ballard in a charming brick building that brings a complete new feel to the gym. It’s cozy and comfortable, and set up…

Great Gym, Good Price, Quality Equipment Without Pressure by Nick M. via Judy's Book on 1/18/2006
We love this gym/club. It isn't cheap, but it is nice - pool, racquetball, machines, machines, machines, yoga, basketball, you name it - it's a great place to work out after work or whenever (they're open 24 hours). No pressure, friendly,…
Health Club in Ballard by Brandon H. via Judy's Book on 10/23/2005
The Olympic Athletic Club is a great full service club in Ballard. It's in a strange old building, so it's a multi-level club. On the first floor there is a weight room, day care, pool and cafe. Second floor has the men's locker room,…
Olympic Athletic Club + child care by Amber Q. via Judy's Book on 9/2/2005
I've been a member of OAC for a few years now and I have to say that it's my favorite gym in Seattle since the Vault was bought by those horrible Pure Fitness people. OAC is definitely more expensive than your average Golds, 24 Hour…
Olympic Athletic Club by Amber Q. via Judy's Book on 8/22/2005
I've been a member of the OAC for about 3 years now and as far as gyms go, it's great. This is a family gym, not a meat market and they'll make everyone feel comfortable. It's a strange building...first floor has weights and the pool…
Way too expensive, but nice racquetball courts by Daniel S. via Judy's Book on 8/19/2005
The club does have a few nice things: great racquetball courts, and a decent cardio room and pool. That said, the weight room is terrible, the building stinks, the locker rooms are gross and the entire thing is WAY overpriced. There are a…
Not worth the price by Cassie L. via Judy's Book on 8/17/2005
I was a member of this gym for a few months, until I left to join the cheaper, friendlier Ballard Health Club. OAC is definitely a nice facility, with a pool, and is open 24 hours. However, it's filled with huge muscle bound men grunting…
Olympic Athletic Club Spa - Non-members welcome! by Amber Q. via Judy's Book on 8/16/2005
The Spa at Olympic Athletic Club is a great choice for a massage and non-members are welcome! Heather McRobbie is an absolutely wonderful therapist and I've heard great things about the other therapists there as well. The massage rooms…
Smaller pool - warm, very little chlorine by Teresa C. via Judy's Book on 8/23/2004
This is a nice place to take a child swimming. The water is warm and barely chlorinated. The pool is definitely on the smaller side (20 yards I think?) and the space is a bit cramped, but still pleasant. There is a lot of "open swim"…
