Jim's Auto Clinic employs ASE Certified Master Technicians, a title which means that they are certified by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence on every mechanical and electrical component and system.

An ASE Certification signifies a commitment to excellence by a technician. In order to be certified in an area, a technician must take difficult, national tests on the most current methods and models, meaning they must constantly be learning about new technologies as they are developed. Technicians must also re-test every five years in order to keep their certification.

ASE Certified Master Technicians must keep current certifications in eight areas: engine repair, engine performance, electrical/electronic systems, brakes, heating and air conditioning, suspension and steering, manual drive train and axles, and automatic transmissions.

System-specific services we perform when recommended or as needed:
BG A/C Evaporator Service: We visually inspect all fitting and hoses, clean and disinfect the air ventilation system using safe and effective cleaners and install a special anti fungus control chemical to disinfect and deodorize harmful mold, mildew, fungi and remove offensive odors from ventilation.
BG Cooling System Flush: Flush cooling system, pressure test, check hoses, cap and check connection. This service returns the clogged passages in your vehicle's radiator to like-new condition. This service dissolves and removes accumulated deposits of rust, scale, and sludge. Then we add OEM coolant and install BG Cooling System Corrosion Control Kit.
BG Complete Fuel Injection/Throttle Body Service: Using specialized equipment, our technicians will quickly and effectively remove the carbon build-up and sludge that accumulates in the air intake, valves, injectors, pistons, combustion chamber and fuel lines. Clean fuel injectors, intake manifold ports, intake valves and combustion chamber. This service will restore lost power and performance and will reduce harmful exhaust emissions.
Full synthetic BG front and rear differential/transfer case service: Utilizing state-of-the-art equipment, our technicians will remove all of the old oxidized fluid. They will install new fluid and BG MGC, an additive to help reduce temperature, component wear and its' thermal stability extends oil service life. Service will maintain bearing life and helps reduce potential expensive repair, install Limited Slip Additive (if applicable). Recommended every 15,000 miles. BG Automatic Transmission Fluid Flush: Using the latest in state-of-the-art technology, we will install a safe and effective cleaner to suspend harmful varnish and sludge from the transmission valve body, torque converter and lines. Install new high-tech fluid, with conditioners.
BG Power Steering Fluid Flush: We use a powerful cleaner to dissolve gum and varnish in your car's power steering unit. Next we will flush old, worn-out, contaminated fluid and install fresh new fluid fortified with special antioxidant and anti-wear ingredients to prevent expensive mechanical failure.
