The American style of karate taught in each Red Dragon Studio is a combination of the 7 major Oriental styles of martial arts. It is a very fast and powerful marital arts form that teaches Self defense, fitness, helps promote weight loss and teaches its students respect, self discipline and focus. Red Dragon requires each student’s desire, effort and commitment to excel.
Founded by Louis D. Casamassa in 1965,Red Dragon Karate has grown to over 14 locations in the southern California area. Including: Glendora, La Verne, San Dimas, Via Verde, Azusa and more The base style is Judo. and it is considered to be one of the first Mixed martial art styles, MMA in America.
