Carbonara Trattoria Italiana is located in the heart of the historic downtown business district of San Clemente. Opened in 1997, it is know for its excellent blend of both northern and southern Italian dishes.

Carbonara’s daily specials are superb, affordable and include fresh fish specials such as swordfish, salmon, sea bass and halibut. A variety of pasta specials are also offered nightly and Carbonara’s extensive and affordable wine list will complement your meal.

"Everyday we see new faces and they always come back", says owner Tony Carbonara who is joined by his wife Mary in the day to day operation.

Wonderful setting, wonderful food and great owners. It's a great place to relax over delicious food and wine.

delicious italian food. They have good eggplant parmisian. Restaurant is on Del Mar street. Good bread and wine, too.
