Commitment to Green

Our business takes measures to reduce our energy and resource usage, including:

• We use double sided printing to reduce our paper usage.
• Ink and toner usage is reduced by using the lightest printer settings.
• We turn computers and equipment off at night to save energy.
• Our business uses compact fluorescent light bulbs, which use less electricity than traditional incandescent bulbs.
• We take advantage of our monitor’s energy saving display settings.
• Our business does not market with physical mailings.
• Our business has a bike rack to encourage biking over driving.
• Our business uses energy saving appliances and equipment such as low flow toilets, Energy Star appliances and flat screen monitors.

Reusing resources is important to our company, which we demonstrate by:

• (ex. Reusing plastic bags instead of throwing them away)
• Encouraging the use of reusable bottles and mugs instead of disposable paper, plastic or Styrofoam cups.
• We use hand dryers in the restrooms to reduce paper towel usage.

We encourage recycling by:

• recycling ink cardridges
• Using recycled paper or post consumer office supplies.

Our business makes a concerted effort to be environmentally friendly by:

• Using eco-friendly cleaning supplies.
• Buying resources and supplies that are biodegradable.

Charity Friendly

Our favorite charity is The American Red Cross.

Each year, we contribute to our favorite charity by doing pro-bono work to help their cause..

We are willing to support other charity programs or events.

Handicapped parking is available at our business.

Our restrooms accommodate the handicapped:

• Doors allow for the passage of wheelchairs.

We have elevators or stairlifts so the handicapped can easily navigate from floor to floor at our business.
