Santa Monica?s Co-opportunity is more than just a grocer; it?s a community. In fact, as its name suggests, the store is a co-op. This means that it?s owned by members who pay an annual fee in exchange for certain benefits. In addition to…

Healthy one-stop market by bibadasy via Citysearch on 2/6/2006

Great little market. Has quite a few hard to find items in the general store. The deli has some wonderful healthy food but the service can be slow and sometime rude.. but still worth the abuse.

This is the Little Supermarket That Could! People come from all over the city to shop here. Somehow this tiny organic co-op seems to have better variety and higher quality that Whole Foods! Particularly when it comes to Herbs and…

My Review by Angela D via Insider Pages on 11/1/2004

A great whole food/organic grocer. They have some excellent prepared foods, as well as staples like Uncle Eddie's Vegan Cookies and Tofutti. They've got a wide selection of vitamins & homeopathic stuff, and organic wines. Gorgeous produce.
