Jack Vartanian has a long and distinguished career as a potter, starting with his discovery of the art while in junior high. After graduating from high school, Jack was accepted to Roger Williams University where he worked in a new pottery studio under the tutelage of Caroline Hathaway, where he was given the freedom to expand his vision in the medium which was his first love.

After graduation, he was invited to stay and teach at the university, where he remained for the next two years.
After leaving teaching, Jack embarked on his entrepreneurial career by starting his own studio which grew rapidly because of the popularity of his work which successfully combined art and function.

In 2003, he moved his family to Florida and now teaches at the Visual Arts Center in Punta Gorda, Florida. His current studio was opened in 2010 where he works, sells his production and that of the potters associated with the studio and teaches some talented students on a one-to-one basis.

Visitors are always welcome, whether to purchase or just visit and meet Jack.
