Basic services are offered at the following rates:
Single party, voice grade residential service, including local usage Single party, voice grade business service, including local usage

Touch Tone service is provided as part of the local service rate. Customers have access to toll carriers of their choice, at rates established by those carriers. Toll Blocking is available at no charge for low income customers that qualify. Emergency 911 Services. Surcharge for 911 services are assessed at governmental rates.

Low income individuals may be eligible for Lifeline telephone assistance programs which provide for discounts from the basic local service charges through specified governmental programs.

Colo Telephone Company presents a Voice-Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) calling program that turns any broadband Internet connection into your global telephone system.

VoIP is a revolutionary new technology that allows customers to transform their broadband internet connection into local and long distance phone service via the Internet. Using the advanced technology of CHIPS, customers can make and receive calls from anywhere in the world via an Internet connection. Calls between any CHIPS customers are free. This service will work from anywhere in the world provided you have a DSL connection.

If you've got a high-speed Internet connection, you can use CHIPS to make calls over the Internet at significant savings over analog calling.
