J & R Marble and Trailer, located 15 miles North of Springfield, Illinois on Route 29, was established in 1984 in Athens, Illinois by Steve and Bob Lott's parents; Bob and Connie Reed. After their retirement in 1996, Steve and Bob took over and started to expand the Recreational Vehicle business to year round sales and service.

J & R carries brands such as Forest River, Salem and Sierra Trailers and Fifth Wheels, also lite weight Surveyors. J & R's used RV inventory gets larger each year with good used Motor Homes, Fifth Wheel Trailers and Travel Trailers.

Service plays a big part of J & R. Taking care of our customers as quick and efficiently as possible is important to us.

J & R is stocking more and more RV Parts every year such as A & E Awnings, Carefree Awnings, Reese Hitches (travel trailer and fifth wheel), Domestic Air Conditioners, Coleman Air Units, Suburban Water Heaters and Furnaces, Atwood Furnaces and Water Heaters.

Our Service has expanded to R. V., Siding repair or replacement and roof repair or replacement.

R.V. warranty work is made much easier working with such companies as Forest River and Heartland, who get their parts out in a timely manner; which lets us get our customers taken care of quicker.

The other part of J & R is our Memorial Business, stocking a full line of Monuments, like Georgia Grays, Dakota and China Blacks. Tombstone cutting is mainly done here at our Athens location.
