Donald “Taps” Gallagher as been an attorney with concentration in Illinois workers compensation and personal injury since 1984. Mr. Gallagher operates a solo practice in Clarendon Hills, Illinois and litigates matters in Cook, DuPage, Will and Kane Counties. He has successfully briefed cases before the Illinois Appellate Court during his thirty (30) year career. Mr. Gallagher has successfully represented over 5,000 workers who have suffered injuries while in the scope of their employment. Millions of dollars have been obtained during Mr. Gallagher's twenty-five year practice through trial or settlement.

Mr. Gallagher received his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University in Chicago and his Masters Degree in Public Administration from St. Johns University in New York.

Mr. Gallagher is an appointed member by the Illinois Supreme Court to the Character and Fitness Committee for the Illinois Bar. He is also an active member of the Illinois Workers Bar Association and involved with numerous municipal government committees and charitable organizations. Mr. Gallagher is also a Director on the Hinsdale Bank and Trust Board along with being Head Women's Varsity Coach at Simeon High School in Chicago, Illinois.
