My husband and I have lived in the same house for the last thirty years. When our youngest child left for college, we both agreed that it was time for us to head south for more sunny weather :) Moving America helped us say goodbye to the house we built and say hello to the sunshine! The move was absolutely great!

I had a great experience with Moving America services. I got transferred for my job and then after two months got transferred back to my original office. This hectic confusion was not easy! I went with another moving company for the first move and, while they weren’t horrible, I didn’t want to deal with the problems I had again. My company recommend Moving America to me as they had previously employees move with them. I was moving out of a two bedroom apartment (after recently getting all my stuff there) and my schedule was too busy for me to rent a trunk and do it by myself. I had no choice. My experience started with their customer service over the phone. I coordinated with the same sales representative throughout the whole process (which avoided a lot of useless repetition). Thanks Katherine you were amazing!! The inventory process was quick and painless. I didn’t have to think about it all, her questions covered everything! I was able to check the inventory and edit it myself to make sure they didn’t leave anything off so they can charge me on my move day (like the previous company had). The move day was great. I ordered their full service so I could concentrate on other work while they did everything. I was there to make sure (since it’s strangers with my belongings) but there were no instances. It took three guys to pack everything and load it onto the truck. I noticed what a good job packing they did when I was unpacking in my new place. The door of my cabinet fell off when they were unloading it but they were nice enough to put it back on for me. I did have some problems finding stuff in the boxes (since I didn’t pack anything). The next day I called customer service and they were able to contact the movers and find out where everything was (which were in the end in boxes.) The only thing was a cable of mine went missing (to connect my phone to my car). I never found it in the end but that’s the worst that happened. Great moving company :D use them if you can!

I received an email from them with a quote, and I noticed after some back and forth emailing that they had an anonymous hidden IP.
I eventually moved with them, but the "contract" I received from them was checked by my lawyer and surprisingly it is NOT legal nor binding (as they claim!) They will then give you a totally new contract when they take your items! The truck is a rental and isn't owned by them, and neither are the movers! One of the Hispanic guys told me they picked him up from a gas station. After more emails and countless phone calls (!!!!!!) to check on my items, I got an email from Alex and he told me I'd get my items after 21 days (I was told it'd be between 5-12 days!!!!!) After his email, I tracked the REAL IP. I checked the information and they're based in ISRAEL!!!!!!! The woman in charge ANNA MARIE JACOBS has a very thick Israeli accent and she claims she's from BELGIUM! Talk to her in any of the languages spoken there and you'll realize she's ISRAELI! PLEASE DON'T USE THEM IF U HAVE VALUE FOR UR MONEY!!!!!!!! I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY ITEMS!

Oh they were outstanding and pleasurable. Although I admit it was partially my fault for distracting them, I wish they would have worked a bit faster. Still, damn good service.

My family was all set up to move. We ended up having last minute problems with my buyers closing which caused a delay. I called Lisa, the sales representative that I had worked with the whole time, and explained to her the situation. She could not have been more understanding, helpful, and flexible. They were able to still pick up everything at the scheduled time and took it to their storage facility. The best part was that there was no extra charge! Two days later when everything got settled with my buyers they picked up everything and delivered it to my new home. We highly recommend.

The guys at Moving America were given very short notice to move 4 pieces of furniture across town. (1 day) They were able to move around their schedule to fit me in and finish the move in a professional manner. Not only was the move performed quickly, with no damage but well within their reasonable quote for the job. I'll definitely hire this company again next move!

I used this moving company moving from Portland to San Francisco and I have never been more disappointed in any service. It was extremely inconvenient and the service was terrible and unorganized.

My things did not come back clean, my things were left half put together (they asked me to finish), I had to hire a handyman to come finish my furniture, and they charged me over 50% more than the original estimate.

While i was awaiting my items, they could not tell me where my furniture was-it could have been lost for all I know. They also did not deliver my furniture during the time they promised. I had to purchase an air mattress to sleep on because they did not stick to the promised agreement. There are several moving companies out there DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

They were very professional. It was a good experience. Spoke to me in Spanish.

I recommend this company for the price and the staff. Good company that helped me a lot.

THE move: 1300 cf bedroom home, 3 ppl one truck, San Diego to Seattle, price 3958.00

On time - The moving crew called about 30 min before arriving at 9:45. I really appreciated this.

Loading - We hired for the full moving package. The guys came and packed everything and loaded it onto the truck to be transported. All the odd sized items, furniture, twisted together electronic wires: basically everything I really didn’t want to deal with they took care of carefully. The truck was all packed by early afternoon.

Unloading - We just had the carpets in our new house deep cleaned. The crew was wonderful about putting down blankets and not stepping on the carpet. God, this was such a relief!! They unloaded everything into the specific rooms that we requested, making putting things away so much easier! They reassembled all of the Ikea furniture for us. The best surprise (and I do mean surprise) is that nothing was broken!

This is a copy of my last e-mail to them. Approximate total loss between destroyed property, loss and damaged property and overcharges about $1200. They want to pay me $60. Help yourself and hire a valid serious company. Moving America is a scam and they don't care about people. They just say that while they are trying to get your business. I am taking them to court to get compensated since they want to scam me again with their insurance claim offer of $60.00.

To whom may this concern: Apparently you think that I am a joke. I was overcharged minimal $85.00 and had one TV destroyed that I will never be able to use, another TV worth $690 or more damaged, one entertainment center destroyed and another damaged. A tablet worth at least $200 totally destroyed the screen completely broken. My bike gear and handle bars damaged the repair cost is minimal $57+ that I sent to this moving claims company. Lamps, etc destroyed.

You guys lost 3 full boxes. I sent 26 boxes and I only received 23. Several boxes of dishes broken and lost, several picture frames totally broken.

I estimate the total to be around $1200, and moving claims want to pay me $60 for all those damages. What a joke.

I will proceed and take you to small claims courts since you apparently think I can be scam again.

I will continue to give you bad reviews as well on every single of the websites you utilize for your review.

You should be careful with whom you mess with. I handle claims litigation for a living.

I was extremely stressed out when my boss told me that I have to move to another city for my job. I was excited about getting to know a new city, but of course one of my first thoughts was "damn, I have to move my apartment furniture."

I posted my information online and my phone started blowing up with movers offering me their services. Even more stress! Moving America called and after hearing so many offers they gave me the best price (Which honestly had me skeptical). But I looked up some of their reviews on different sites and decided in the end to go with them.

Although a few glass cups were broken during the process, they handled my move spectacularly! From speaking to the representative to dealing with the actual movers, I was happy. There weren't any surprise charges in the end. My final bill was larger than the price on my original contract but I expected this. They said that I could add extra items up to three days before my move but I got caught up on life and forgot. (just don't make my mistake). So they had to add an extra couch on the day of the move. But they charged my the exact same rate that I had in the beginning.

I appreciate that they didn't take advantage of me! Thanks Moving America!

Throughout the booking process, Moving America was responsive, knowledgeable, and most reasonably priced. They even included some free wrapping items and gave me a great discount. When the moving day came, there were no bad surprises. They arrived during the space of time they told me they would and even gave me a courtesy call when they were half an hour away to let me know. I’m not sure how they managed it but they were able to back their truck down my very steep, narrow driveway. This saved so much of my time for the loading process. I own a lot of famous paintings and they made sure to be extra careful with these. I can’t believe they all arrived unharmed. When we all arrived to my new home and they efficiently unloaded and unpacked everything, following all of my instructions about where things go. While unpacking they found two plates cracked during the drive over. Even though it was minor damage, they still took responsibility for it. This is a FANTASTIC moving company and I will definitely hire them again (hopefully not for a long time though) :)

If you care about good customer service and a stress free move, do not use Moving America.

Moving America did deliver my belongings, but their company demonstrated pervasive incompetence and zero follow up to customer service issues.

First, their estimate process is clunky at best. I worked incredibly hard to get an accurate estimate, calling the company and emailing several times with questions about what I had packed. However, I was stunned when I was charged hundreds of dollars more when the driver picked up my stuff.

I called Moving America to resolve the issue, and encountered awful customer service. I talked with multiple representatives who said my issue was important to them and that they would call me back the next day. Two weeks went by, and I heard nothing from the company despite calling day after day. When j did get in touch with a rep, none of them were able to do anything to answer my questions oral address my concerns.

When I asked to speak with a supervisor, no one was available. Though being told I'd hear from a supervisor within a day or two, I have yet to receive any correspondence. I am now three weeks out from my move and have still have no resolution.

From top to bottom, Moving America has major issues with their business model and has demonstrated that there is absolutely no concern for serving customers well.

Even though it was a long process with many mistakes and hassles, the company worked with me to resolve my issues satisfactorily.

It was an arduous experience but fine in the end.

All of the amazing reviews I saw had me very skeptical but in the end I had to take the risk. I hired Moving America to move my family in California. We hired them for full service, as we simply lacked the time to do it ourselves. They packed everything before the move and then the next day came to move us.

The packing team and the movers were polite, professional, and smart. They knew how to safely disassemble the furniture and then put it all back together. The move was tough, in that we had a lot of belongings, we were moving a long distance, and there were more than one floor in each destination. I almost had a heart attack as they dropped our new couch off the stairs (over the railing) but no damage done.

Moving America managed it wonderfully! I know I couldn’t have! I wanted to post this review to say thank you!!

Ok, I’ll split this review into two sections:

First the bad-
1. They arrived 20 minutes late on pickup day.
2. The movers worked slowly, but I had a determined price so they just prolonged their own work for the same price

Second the good-
1. No items were broken and arrived safely.
2. It was a great price and they gave me excellent discounts.
3. The customer service was friendly and professional.

Bottom line is I would definitely recommend them to anyone!!

Honestly I beleive that the good reviews they show they wrote themselves. I had the worse experience with his company. I think they are a scam. The guy Thomas who seemed so nice at first never ever acknowledge my emails and calls. They gave me a quote and then increased the price by more than 800 at pick up. Today delivery day they were supposed to have been here between 10-12 and it is now 1:30pm and they are still not here. I was told that one flight of stairs is free and now they want me to pay $75. Also when they called yesterday to tell me they were delivering today they have me a total balance due of $759.08 and then when I called to tell them where to park this morning this guy named Brian told me that they were going to charge me $250 more claiming that the truck couldn't come to inside the parking of my condo which is also not true because just yesterday there was a 18 wheeler here yesterday delivering. If you want good service you should hire North Star. I wish I would have listen to my friend. I chose moving America them because they promised Lower price and it's costing me more than the other company.

Overall the experience was good. Except for our mattresses we decided to pack our belongings ourselves. The crew arrived within the window of time given and loaded everything efficiently. However, the truck broke down on the way to delivery so it was delivered two days late. The driver called us immediately though and we were informed about everything the whole time. Great customer service. When our things eventually arrived nothing was damaged.

My parents used Moving America so I’m going off of their opinion. They aren’t good with the internet and asked me to post a review for them. They were pleased with their work and said they were very “pleasant gentlemen”.

I hired Moving America a few months ago. The organization and the setting up was smooth. On the moving day it was stressful. They came 20 minutes late (even though they let us know they would be) which threw off my schedule.

Professional service. My flat screens, pictures and frames, and valuables were packed according to regulations and there was no observable damage. I am pleased with the experience that Moving America provided for me.

I had to cancel my contract with Moving America after booking. I still wanted to send so much thanks to Katherine for her professional and caring manner while helping me. She was entirely informed about the company. She answered every question and concern that I had. She is a very compassionate and professional person. I hope that her supervisor sees this review! Thank you is so insufficient in letting you know how much I am grateful for your help!

They did a great job. The only issue was that the movers dragged some of the furniture and scratched my wood floor. They should have lifted it up (and I’m sure they could have). This was it though. I’d still recommend this company to my friends.

I searched for moving companies and left messages with some of them. Moving America was the first to get back to me. I’m glad they were the first because everything went smoothly. I’m writing this review so other people won’t have to spend as much time as I did researching.

Best part about Moving America is that they didn’t charge me by the hour so I didn’t have to worry about the movers moving slowly to get more money. (A friend told me a horror story of her's about that) It relieved so much stress.

Listen, Moving America got my belongings from one home to another safely but it wasn't the easiest experience. Even though customer service was good, there was still confusion and I'm sure the experience could have been made better for me.

I really appreciated the fact that Moving America continuously called me throughout the entire process. In a world with a lot of horrible customer service, this normal courtesy was wonderful!

I wanted to leave a review for Moving America because of my children. On the day of the move I was really stressed out getting everything prepared and my children were extremely hyper. The movers who showed up (Mike, Tim, John) were completely understanding. They simultaneously safely entertained my children while loading everything into the truck. I could focus on other things and didn’t have to worry so much about my children. Thank you guys so much! They deserve a raise!

Prompt service. quick response in calling me back. I didn’t know the exact date I would move but I needed to get some idea of what the move would be like and the cost. The company spoke to me. I explained my situation to them and they were so helpful. I was able to give them the date later with no stress.

The person who organized my move was extremely professional and made it so easy for me. The actual movers were rude when they came but completed the job without breaking anything.

Moving America moved my 92 year old mother from an assisted living home to my house. They didn’t give her (or me) any stress. Upon my request they made sure to set up all of her things exactly how they were in her old room. They were actually very particular about this and went above and beyond to make her feel special. I can’t thank you guys enough!!!

My roommate and I hired Moving America to do a 3 bedroom move. Even though we weren’t paying for the movers hourly, I was still appreciative that they cleared everything into the truck in about two hours. The move didn’t take up my entire day!
