Like the legendary Sound City and Hitsville U.S.A. recording studios, Destiny Audio Recording Studio owner and head engineer Dave Storms strives to create a space just as special for the Kansas City area.

As a professional musician with extensive experience on stage and in the studio, Storms knows how important it is to provide assistance and encouragement during the recording process to get the best results. The laid back and supportive vibe of his recording studio creates the perfect atmosphere for clients to be creative and perform at their best.

More than a “knob turner and button pusher,” Dave is there to guide artists through the process and love being involved in the producing of the music, providing value added creative ideas if the artist is open to it.

Dave has recorded and mixed many local and regional projects, most notably Ron Richard’s album “The Pursuit,” which won the Kansas City Christian Music Association’s CD of the Year. Although Dave specializes in Rock, Alternative Rock, Blues, Country and Jazz, he also loves working with all styles of music that push the limits of creativity.

Adding Berklee School of Music certification in Sound Production to his many years of recording and engineering experience, Dave is able to deliver radio-ready recordings to his clients.
