In January 1986 the Maria Collection Fine Jewelry was established. Starting as an independent jewelry department located in Patriciana Distinctive Gifts and Bridal Registry, The Collection carried European hand-engraved wedding bands and Italian crafted karat gold jewelry. Customer confidence inspired The Collection to pursue carrying diamonds. Always seeking premiere lines, The Collection established a business relationship with Lazare Kaplan and promoted ideal-cut diamonds. Building on the foundation of integrity, quality and style, The Collection continued its development by promoting designer jewelry. In 1994, The Maria Collection purchased its current Carlls Corner location in Upper Deerfield, New Jersey. The building was remodeled inside and more designer lines were featured. Traveling the world for distinctive and different jewelry, The Collection continues its growth. In the fall of 1999, a second business opportunity presented itself. As a result, Diamonds & Design - The Maria Collection, Fine Jewelers opened at the corner of Main and Landis Avenues in Vineland, New Jersey. This location specializes in custom designing and diamond jewelry. With the addition of an award winning designer and master goldsmith in January of 2012, Diamonds & Design is now proud to offer you an opportunity to experience a new way of creating your perfect piece of custom jewelry. Utilizing cutting edge 3-D computer aided design and solid old-world craftsmanship, we are able to involve you in every step f the creation process. Discuss with our designer your dream piece and watch it come to life in our digital design center. Once we capture all of the design elements, we can present a virtual photograph of your jewelry before it even exists. After the design is approved, the virtual model is translated into a wax model used directly in casting process. You are invited to inspect and try on the wax model before it is cast in the metal of your choice. You will also be able to choose all of the diamonds and gemstones used in your special piece of jewelry. If you can dream it...we can make it a reality.
