Larry Orr started in the farm drainage business with his father in 1967. They purchased a small dozer to expand into excavating and grading. A need was seen to be able to complete the entire project, In 1979. Larry started his own business, Larry K. Orr Construction. He wanted to provide a complete excavating and grading service. Larger dozers and a track hoe were part of his growing fleet of equipment. Brian Orr started helping on the jobs after school and on Saturday. Larry and Brian incorporated in 1995. Five full time employees were helping to provide all types of drainage, grading, and excavating. They are currently using the latest technology in "GPS" Ground Positioning Satellite for grade control and surveying.
