Welcome to the historical Levi Tenney House, 100 PACE PARK ROAD, a charming Bed & Breakfast Inn in Salado, Texas. It is perhaps the oldest building in the village of Salado and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. It dates from the 1850s and was the residence of Levi Tenney, a Presbyterian minister and the first President of Salado College.

The Levi Tenney House is a Greek Revival style home typical of the era with large rooms and tall ceilings. The beautifully crafted 16 inch thick rock walls are made from native limestone, quarried, trimmed and built by slaves. The house has been beautifully preserved inside and out.

Each owner has taken care to insure that original authenticity was always maintained. The wood floor upstairs and all plaster walls have been maintained. The cypress wood doorways and moldings around the interior bedroom doors are original. The other details such as wooden floors, wooden ceilings and plaster walls are either original or added so professionally that you cannot distinguish between the old and the new. The few added rooms are very tastefully done in keeping with 1855 architecture in Texas.
